Overview
combination of the Greek words therap: to use/to care for and chroma: color
This involves casting colored light on a person, usually using a halogen lamp with the desired color filter attached. Colors correspond to
vibrations and have different speeds, wavelengths and rhythms; colored light can help reharmonize corporal energy, relieve certain maladies or problems, and even alter a negative state of mind.
The light ray may cover the whole body or be aimed at a specific body part, usually a chakra or acupuncture point. This technique requires regularity and perseverance.
On an everyday basis, colors can be used in our environment: colors of murs, walls, clothing and sheets, gemstones, colored lamps, massages with colored essential oils...
